Dr. Steve Hardy graduated from UC Davis Vet School in 1982. Soon after he moved to Idaho and has been in equine practice ever since. Dr. Hardy has a vast wealth of knowledge and experience. He is dedicated to the education of the equine owners and has a passion to thoroughly diagnosis and treat the horses so they might achieve complete healing. The H bar H clinic staff is a very professional, passionate and efficient team that truly understands customer service.
Darin Kindrick is a horse trainer and farrier who graduated from Mission Farrier School in 2004. Darin has dedicated much of the last <15 years to working with horses, trying to improve their lives from the hoof all the way up. A student of the Vaquero Traditions combined with principles of generations of the top natural horseman has served him well. He is a natural horseman in the respect that he trains utilizing the horse’s psychological being to get positive results, while maintaining a respect and dignity for the horse. He particularly likes helping fearful horses realize life is alright and can they can just relax. The goal being when he is done the horse should feel more confident. Darin really enjoys giving back and helping those who could use a hand up. He says, “Teaching a child or person how to “fish” for their own bit of confidence and self-worth is priceless, yielding the greatest smiles. Horses are the same.”
Betty is our amazing Ranch Camp lead. She leads our campers through camp each week with love and tenderness. Betty has been working with horses for the last 25 years and her favorite part of working with horses is the special relationship that can be built with such a strong animal. She helps with classes in the fall and spring as well as special events and outreach. Betty is loved by all who have taken any class or camp with her.
